Sunday morning services follow the Revised Common Lectionary to provide the worship emphasis for the day. The liturgically based services are a mix of the ancient and the new. Communion is offered weekly by kneeling around the table with individual elements passed by ministers and assistants.
We use the new Evangelical Lutheran Worship Book as the main resource for congregational song, psalms and liturgies supplemented by additional liturgies and songs.
Cantor and adult choirs provide choral leadership. Also included are children’s choir and men’s and women’s choruses. Pipe organ, piano, synthesizer, hand bells, hand chimes, percussion, and instrumentalists of all types add musical flavor.
Service times are 8:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
