Welcome to our church family.

Worship

“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

Matthew 18:20

Worship is at the heart of life at Holy Trinity.

As you come to the table of Holy Communion at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (a member of the ELCA – Evangelical Lutheran Church in America), you join in worship clearly centered on the celebration of Word and Sacrament.

We celebrate this “means of grace” each time we gather, through a pattern which incorporates confession and forgiveness, public scripture reading, sung liturgy, hymns and songs, proclamation of God’s word, and the observance of Holy Communion.

Guiding the worship themes of our various worship experiences are a yearly lectionary of scripture readings and the liturgical year cycle.

Worship Services

We offer three worship opportunities each week:

Saturday 5:30 PM – a casual, “come-as-you-are” service.

Sunday 8:15 & 11:00 AM – a blended, festival service

Holy Communion is offered at both our Saturday and Sunday services.

Professional Child Care is available at our Saturday and Sunday services. A Church Nursery Silent Paging System is available which can alert the parent(s) of the need to return to the nursery during services.

During seasons such as Lent & Advent, additional services may be held to explore God’s love and grace using alternative music, liturgy and worship elements.

All ages take an active role in worship leadership, as all are a part of the worshiping church. Adults and youth alike participate in worship leadership. Younger children may participate in reading the prayer of the day. Youth serve as acolytes and communion assistants. Other opportunities for participation in lay leadership includes:

  • Adult Communion Server – assisting the Presiding Minister
  • Lay Scripture Reader
  • Usher
  • Greeter
  • Altar Guild Member
  • Communion Bread Baker

The center of life at Holy Trinity is our worship – gathering around Word and Meal.

Sanctuary

With the Altar table at the physical center of our sanctuary, we gather in a circle as a family of grace, celebrating ancient Christian liturgy in a joyful, creative, respectful and  inviting style.
