First Communion

First Communion is a special time in the life our your child as well as the life of our church. We have classes in the fall and spring each year. Anyone can participate in these classes. They are full of information and also include several dramas that help children realize the importance of Communion. Parents are able to be good gauges of the spiritual development of their child by listening for questions about spiritual matters and a new interest in the worship services, accompanied by the ability to be still and participate in worship. Each class must be attended by the child and at least one parent. The Watch for upcoming information on the fall class.  Sign up sheets will be available in the Sunday School hallway and the wooden table in the Fellowship Hall.   You may also speak with Gaye Markham, Director of Children, Adult & Family Ministry.
