Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELCA)
Women of the ELCA consider the three mission areas: 1) Community, 2) Growth, and 3) Action as the heart of their ministry in America. These three mission areas unite all women into one mission, namely to proclaim saving grace through Jesus Christ in all of life and throughout the world.
Our local organization offers several circles/groups:
- Evening Peace Circle meets monthly on Monday night.
- God’s Grace Circle meets monthly on Wednesday night.
- Tender Loving Care Circle meets monthly on Tuesday night.
- Wednesday Bible Study is covered under Christian Education.
- Rainbow Quilters meet twice each month, once during the day and once at night.

EVENING PEACE CIRCLE will meet Monday, July 12 at 7:00 pm in the Library. Norma Hornack will continue discussion of important women in history. For more information, please call Joy Schill at 770-977-5326.
GOD’S GRACE CIRCLE will host a Yoga Class at 7pm on July 21 in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is $12 – 15, please bring a mat and water bottle. For more information, contact Jan Pomplun at 404-422-5635.
TENDER LOVING CARE CIRCLE will meet on Tuesday night, July 20 at 7:00 pm. This month will be a Potluck/Movie in the Youth Room. All are welcome. Please call Judy Blackwell at 770-971-9079 for more information.
WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY will meet on Wednesday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the library. We will continue the Bible study in the Lutheran Woman Today magazine. Please bring a brown bag lunch. For more information please call Faye Martin, (770-427-1011)
RAINBOW QUILTERS will meet on Tuesday, July 13th from 9am – 12pm in room 7-8 and on Monday, July 26th at 7:00 p.m. For more information contact JoAnn Moore, (770-509-1967)
